This tour is starting in Oslo and will take you along the popular “Norway in a Nutshell” – Enjoy an exiting ride on the scenic Flåm Railway, pass Stalheimskleiva, Northern Europe’s steepest stretch of road. Catch fantastic fjord views and explore historic cities Oslo and Bergen. Its time for optional activities and we have included 2 nights in Oslo and Bergen.

DAY 1: WELCOME TO OSLO
Arrive Oslo‘s Gardermoen Airport, take the express train to Oslo Central Station. We can arrange private transfer for extra cost from airport to hotel. Check in at one of Choise hotels. If you arrive early explore Oslo by foot. The Munch Museum, Akershus fortress, Oslo Opera House, and the Aker Brygge area.
DAY 2: EXPLORE THE HIGHLIGHTS OF OSLO
Breakfast in the hotel. This morning, get an early start to explore the Norwegian capital. Options tour in Oslo, see enclosed.
City tour: Highlights include the beautiful Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Royal Palace, Akershus fortress, and Oslo City Hall.
Another option tour: Visiting the Viking Ship Museum, Fram Polar Ship Museum and Karl Johans street.
Spend the night in Oslo.
DAY 3: NORWAY IN A NUTSHELL – THE FLÅM RAILWAY
After breakfast you can pick up your electrical car and get ready to start your roundtrip towards Bergen. You will pass charming villages like Gol and Geilo. In Myrdal, you stop and take the famous Flåm Railway (Flåmsbana) for an incredible ride to the beautiful village of Flåm. Stop here for an optional fjord safari or kayaking tour.
Further on you pass Stalheimskleiva – Northern Europe’s steepest stretch of road. After a thrilling ride around 13 hairpin bends, you will continue to Voss before arriving Bergen and check in at one of Choise hotels. You can leave the car in Bergen.
Bergen, “The Capital of the Fjords”, has all the charms of a small town and remarkably preserved old houses. A lively fish and flower market at “Bryggen”, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We can recommend you to take the cable cars “Føibanen Funicular” to Mount Fløyen to enjoy the panoramic view of the city or a cable car up Mt. Ulriken. Bergen is also known for its museums dedicated to history within trade and fisheries, architecture, musical art and contemporary art.
DAY 4: THE CAPITAL OF THE FJORDS BERGEN.
Spend the day in Bergen.
Optional tour to Sognefjord: Aurlandsfjord – Nærøyfjord, the narrowest fjord in all of Europe. Mighty waterfalls and small farms clinging the steep mountainsides. The boat dock in Gudvangen and to board the train back to Bergen.
Spend the night in Bergen.
DAY 5 : DEPARTURE FROM BERGEN
Breakfast and take the airport bus from the hotel to airport. If your flight is in the afternoon, you can choose to enjoy some last-minute shopping, visit one of Bergen‘s many museums or relax at a café, enjoying the last few moments of this amazing journey.
